starts with a ride from Hanoi to Ban Gioc Waterfall, a boat cruise across Ba Be Lake, and stops in Khuoi Khon village with time to explore the border areas. We make our way to the highlands of Ha Giang Province. The rocky landscape is home to colorful hill tribes and single-track riding along the border with China. We head towards the terraced rice fields of Hoan Su Phi and the lively markets of Bac Ha, we end the ride in Lao Cai on the border with China and return to Hanoi by overnight soft sleeper train.

Far North Rides
On our rides to the north, we finish the tours in the border town of Lao Cai. Once in Lao Cai, we provide overnight soft sleeper train tickets back to Hanoi. the cost of shipping the bikes on the train and the overnight soft sleeper is 100$ USD and is included in our price above.

Tour Start and Finish: Hanoi Nearest Airport: Noi Bai International Airport Ha Giang Far North Border Tour is our best adventure ride. We start our tour on the first day to Ba Be Lake National Park and stop in Bao Loc for a home-stay, then make our way to the highlands of Ha Giang province. The rocky landscape is home to colorful hill tribes and single-track riding along the border with China. Day 5 in we head towards to the terraced rice fields of Hoan Su Phi and the lively markets of Bac Ha, we end the ride in Sapa and Lao Cai on the border with China, return to Hanoi by overnight soft sleeper train.

Drivers License: We require that you have your home country’s motorbike license and International Drivers Permit IDP to join one of our tours, Also you must have personal health insurance to cover you in case of an accident or illness.
